Why this pipe is memorable: This pipe was made by Bruto Sordini to demonstrate through our site how he makes his pipes. While he was making it, Bruto and I decided to offer it on auction and donate the final price realized to the Nursing Home of Cagli, where the Don Carlos pipes are made. Bruto decided to give the Latin name "Cum Corde" (From the Heart), and stamped it "Dic. '99". The auction was won by Toren Smith of the USA, and he has been tremendously enjoying it. You can see how this pipe was made from A-Z at: The Maestro At Work |
