COMMENT:
This is a true tobacco for the natural, pressed tobacco connoisseurs. It comes in "Cut Plug" form, which in this case means "broken flake'; though it's described as "American style", it is a "naturally" sweet tobacco. It can be either packed as it is or rubbed out further. The pouch aroma is natural and nutty. When smoked, it offer a delicious taste combination of nuttiness, spiciness, and sweetness. It burns slowly and evently down to a fine ash. If you enjoy pressed VAs, and want something that will give you a unique smoking experience, try this one.

Ingredients:
Virginias, Java, Burley and Orientals.
COMMENT:
This is a blend that really offers a unique smoking experience, thanks for the variety of rare leaves used, such as Java and Swiss Burley. A blend can not be as spicy and natural sweet and nutty as this one. The pouch aroma is intriguing and gets you ready for a *different* smoke. The level of humidity is perfect, and for some strange reason you feel that the blend is "crispy" though it is rightly moist. In case you're wondering what the manufacturer descibes it as "Dutch" and "American", I believe it's because of the respective"Java" and "Burley" used.

Ingredients:
Indigeno (a Swiss tobacco), Burley (Italy), Virginia, Kentucky (USA), Kentucky (Italy), Kentucky Ribs.
COMMENT:
The pouch aroma is a combination of the fermentedness of St. Bruno and the sweetness of 4 Squares Navy Cut (Yellow). The tobacco has a top flavor of molasses. Upon lighting it seems to be almost too mild and sweet, but slowly both aspects change. It tastes like a true natual matured VA, which is anyway claimed to be. Sometimes, a typical traditional "soapy" taste comes through, without being unpleasant. Has a neutral smell to others.

Ingredients:
Virginias, Swiss Burley, and tobacco from Brazil & Paraguay.
COMMENT:
This blend tastes like a good spicy, robust cigar of a high quality. The smell is 100% natural, and the taste starts as a bit bitter and then carried you into a host of intriguing smoking dimensions. As it is cut very fine, it burns rather fast, though evently. People who roll their own could find a treasure in this blend.

COMMENT:
Has a very naturally pleasant pouch aroma. I find it easy to pack, light and keep lit. The taste is really great upon lighting, and what is more impressive is that it stays so throughout the smoke. I think it's ideal to break in a new pipe with: It burns evently, fast and the fine cut tobacco seems to stick to the bowl walls easily.

COMMENT:
On first impact, it seems strong and bitter; then slowly the suble tastes and aromas of mature Virginias start to come up, and the bitterness goes away fast. It smells to other like an elegant spicy cigar, without being overwhelming or unpleasant. It gives a nice doze of nicotine, while the sweetness grows to its maximum.

Ingredients:
Several Virginias, of various cuts and colors, and Swiss Burley.
COMMENT:
This is another of my favorites. It's a totally natural matured Virginia blend, with a bit of the green Oriental leaf of spiciness. I find the taste and aroma as attractive and satisfactoy as the sought-after VA blends made by famous manufacturer. Though the cut is fine and the tobacco burns rather fast, the smoke is cool and dry. The taste is consistently pleasant till the bowlful is a tiny bit of fine gray ashes. As most fine-cut blends, this one could bite if not smoked slowly. Highly recommended, esp. for those who roll their own (I'm no expert here, though!).
